Clackamas Town Center will reopen to the public at 9 a.m. today, according to a bulletin released Thursday. The mall has been closed since a gunman shot and killed two people before apparently committing suicide Tuesday afternoon.

The mall announced it will hold a candlelight vigil for the victims and the community. More details will be available later on its Facebook page, according to a news release.

“Please continue to keep the victims, their families and the entire community in your prayers during this difficult time,” the release said.

Kristina Shevchenko, a Portland-area resident who was shot in the chest during the attack, is still listed in serious condition at Oregon Health & Science University, a spokeswoman said.

A trauma surgeon at the hospital on Wednesday said the 15 year old is expected to make a full recovery.

Anyone can donate at any Wells Fargo branch or online to help pay for Shevchenko’s medical bills. People can also text 28594 and with the word “support” in the message. A prompt will ask for the donation amount.
