Boys basketball: Kalama 65, La Center 36

The host Chinooks took control early, limiting the Wildcats to 12 first-half points in the 1A Trico League game.

Kalama (4-0) led 24-6 after one quarter, and the margin was 38 points by the end of three quarters.

Connor Wonderly scored 17 to provide almost half of the points for La Center (3-3, 2-2).

Jared Nieman scored 16 points for Kalama, topping three Chinooks who scored in double figures.
