LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kelsey Bone and Kristi Bellock scored 15 points each, helping No. 23 Texas A&M kick off a four-game road swing with a 79-61 victory over USC on Saturday afternoon.

Bellock pulled down 10 rebounds and Bone had nine for the Aggies (6-3), who also got 14 points from Courtney Walker.

Cassie Harberts, coming off a double-double in a loss to Fresno State, led the Women of Troy (3-5) with 19 points and eight rebounds. Ariya Crook added 15 points, but USC shot just 30 percent from the floor.

The Aggies led just 33-30 after a back-and-forth first half but took control after halftime with a 12-0 run capped by Bone’s 3-pointer. That gave A&M a 51-35 lead with 12:55 to play, and the Aggies went on to lead by as many as 25.

A&M next faces Kansas State on Wednesday in the World Vision Classic in Las Vegas.
