NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have scratched two healthy veterans who were regulars earlier this season, linebacker Scott Shanle and defensive end Turk McBride, for Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay.

Shanle is missing his fifth straight game and McBride his second straight. New Orleans’ other healthy scratches are reserve tight end Michael Higgins and reserve defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker. Several injured Saints, running back Chris Ivory (hamstring), right tackle Zach Strief (right ankle) and cornerback Corey White (left knee), already had been ruled out.

Tampa Bay deactivated cornerback LeQuan Lewis (left knee), who had been listed as questionable, and scratched six other healthy players: running back Michael Smith, linebacker Najee Goode, guard Roger Allen, receiver David Douglas, defensive tackle Corey Irvin and defensive tackle Matthew Masifilo.
