LORETTO, Pa. (AP) — Mike Muscala posted 12 points and seven boards as Bucknell routed St. Francis (Pa.) 76-49 Monday.

Cameron Ayers paced Bucknell with 13 points while Joe Willman and Bryson Johnson each added 12 for the Bison, who won their fifth straight game and improved to 10-1 for the first time since 1926-27.

Bucknell held St. Francis to just one field goal over the game’s first 6:10 as the Bison took an early 11-2 lead. St. Francis cut the deficit to 19-14 behind two Earl Brown free throws, but Johnson hit two 3-pointers, Willman made a layup and then Ayers converted two treys to put Bucknell up for good, 30-14.

St. Francis (0-9) shot 30 percent (16-for-54) and tallied its lowest scoring output of the season.

Bucknell has only allowed two opponents to shoot above 40 percent this season and has held its last nine opponents to 34.3 percent (172 of 501).
