Boys basketball: Woodland 56, La Center 42

Three players scored in double figures to lead the visiting Beavers past the Wildcats in the Class 1A Trico League game.

Kyle Henrix led the charge with 19 Woodland points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Logan Piper scored 13 and pulled down 10 rebounds. Tanner Huddleston contributed 10 points and Tannyr Knight dished out nine assists.

A 16-7 second-quarter surge pushed the Beavers’ in front by 12 points at halftime.

Jeremiah Arn scored 12 points to lead La Center.
