Southern Illinois-Edwardsville wins 81-49

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- Kris Davis and Michael Messer had 15 points apiece and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville coasted to an 81-49 victory over Robert Morris-Springfield Wednesday night.
Jerome Jones had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Cougars (4-5) and Derian Shaffer scored 11 points.
Robert Morris-Springfield (4-6) made just five shots in the first half as SIU-Edwardsville opened up a 39-13 lead at the break.
Reid Davis led the Eagles with 16 points. Jordan Softley added 10 points for the NAIA school.
