Boys basketball: Skyview 65, Yamhill-Carlton 50

The Storm used defensive pressure and balanced scoring to move into the title game of the North Marion Tournament at Aurora, Ore.

Trailing 14-11 after the first quarter, Skyview (5-1) outscored the Tigers 27-12 in the second quarter thanks to creating turnovers that led to transition baskets.

Jordan Berni scored seven of his 11 points in the second quarter. He also had six rebounds in the game.

Keegan Liebelt led Skyview scorers with 15 points.

The Storm will face Hudson's Bay at 6:15 p.m. Saturday for the tournament title.
