CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Wesley Saunders scored 15 points to lead four Harvard players in double figures as the Crimson defeated Holy Cross 72-65 Saturday.

Siyani Chambers added 14 points and five assists, Christian Webster scored 13 and Laurent Rivard scored all 10 of his in the second half for the Crimson (6-4), which led 52-38 before going scoreless for 5 minutes, 9 seconds and falling behind 53-52.

Jonah Travis’ layup with 9:48 remaining ended the drought, and the lead changed hands three more times before two free throws by Saunders put Harvard ahead to stay, 61-60 with 5:22 left. A three-point play by Chambers made it 67-62.

It was 67-65 Harvard with a minute left, but another free throw by Saunders and four in the final 13 seconds by Rivard provided the final margin.

Dave Dudzinski scored 22 points and Justin Burrell 13 to lead the Crusaders (7-5), whose three-game winning streak ended.
