PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Kyle Tresnak scored only 12 points and had five rebounds but his dunk with 1:07 remaining in overtime gave the Wildcats the lift they were looking for, giving Weber State a 73-69 victory over Portland State on Saturday night.

Tresnak’s dunk gave Weber State (6-3, 2-0 Big Sky) a 72-69 lead and Davion Berry added a free throw with 17 seconds left. Four other players scored in double figures for the Wildcats with Gelaun Wheelwright and Jordan Richardson scoring 14 points apiece. Scott Bamforth added 13 and Berry finished with 12 points and seven assists.

At the end of regulation, Renado Parker hit a jumper for Portland State (3-6, 1-1) with 1:55 remaining in the game to make it 63-63, but neither team managed a point after that, missing six shots and two free throws combined.
