Boys basketball: Myrtle Point (Ore.) 64, King’s Way Christian 63, OT

King’s Way just missed getting its second win of the season, falling in overtime at a tournament in Stayton, Ore.

Carter Coval scored 18 points, Kyle Gonzales had 14, and Kienan Walter added 11 for King’s Way.

Myrtle Point made 70 percent of its shots in the first half, racing out to a 13-point lead. Myrtle Point ended up with 10 3-pointers in the game.

King’s Way final shot, a 3-pointer at the horn, just missed.
