ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Distinctiv Passion led all the way in winning the $58,000 feature by 2 1/2 lengths Friday at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Edwin Maldonado, Distinctiv Passion ran six furlongs in 1:08.61 and paid $8.20, $5.40 and $6.60.
Disarm returned $15.80 and $8.60, while Mico Margarita was another 3 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $5.40 to show. Super Ninety Nine finished fourth as the 4-5 favorite.
The victory, worth $34,800, increased Distinctiv Passion’s career earnings to $74,400, with two wins in four starts.
