Letter: Notoriety should be denied

If the media want to make a difference and help stop these massacres of innocent people, stop plastering the picture and name of the shooters on TV and the newspapers. If the shooter does not get the notoriety he craves in his delusional fantasies, there will be less reason for him to commit the crime. They have learned from our society that they will be famous in life or in death by committing these crimes. Too few people remember the names of the victims but do remember the name of the perpetrator. Together as a community we can change that. I implore the media to get on board and the people to demand it.
