Letter: Changes can be complicated

Where is the voice of outrage and condemnation in this country for the innocent children being murdered in the name of “war” by the U.S. (us). The parents of those children are no less caring or loving. The children lose their innocent parents.

Guns don’t jump off the shelf and go on a rampage. Why should responsible citizens lose their Second Amendment rights because of violent video games, anti-psychotic drugs (that actually cause aggression), poor parenting and a government out of control? Who chooses a violent video game as a baby sitter and what kind of values are being instilled? How many more got such games for Christmas?

Maybe we should outlaw cars. Then people won’t be able to drive when they drink. How many people are killed by drunk drivers? Yeah, let’s get rid of cars, too.
