Buddle returns to Galaxy after a year in Germany

CARSON, Calif. (AP) -- Edson Buddle is returning to the Los Angeles Galaxy after a year in the German second division.
The 30-year-old forward signed with the Major League Soccer team Wednesday, a day after his contract was terminated by Ingolstadt.
A member of the 2010 World Cup team, Buddle joins the MLS champions whose star-filled roster includes David Beckham, Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan.
