Ridgefield third-graders grow with math, science lesson
Ridgefield -- Second-graders at Union Ridge Elementary School will take a trip to the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals this spring thanks to a grant from Target.
Teacher Angie Wiseman won the $700 Target Grant to fund the trip that supports the Full Option Science System kits students use to identify and learn about different kinds of rocks.
