Vancouver police arrest two in Cascade Park bank robbery

Vancouver police arrested a man and a woman Thursday in connection with a robbery at the Bank of America at Southeast 134th Avenue and Mill Plain Boulevard, in Cascade Park not far from the police East Precinct office.
According to a police bulletin, a man entered the bank and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Minutes later, an officer radioed that he had one suspect in custody and another at gunpoint. As police rushed to the scene to help, the officer radioed that both suspects were in custody.
A bag of cash was found, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.
The investigation was continuing Thursday evening, with detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes unit continuing interviews, the bulletin said. The names of the man and woman were not released.
