Nebraska women edge Purdue in 3 OTs

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Lindsey Moore scored eight of her 26 points in the third overtime session, including two 3-pointers, and No. 16 Nebraska beat 15th-ranked Purdue 93-89 in triple overtime Thursday night to move into a first-place tie in the Big Ten.

Moore, who was 3 of 29 from 3-point range before her third overtime spurt, needed 23 points to break the 1,000-point career scoring mark at Nebraska.

Jordan Hooper had 27 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cornhuskers and Alex Guyton had 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Boilermakers, who have dropped two straight.

Moore hit a 3-pointer to open the third overtime session to give the Cornhuskers an 83-80 lead and later hit a 3-pointer to make it 88-84.
