CHICAGO (AP) — U.S. women’s soccer coach Pia Sundhage has selected nine players for a training camp who weren’t on her roster for Olympic qualifying, a group that includes backup goalkeepers Jill Loyden and Ashlyn Harris.

The group, which will practice ahead of a Feb. 11 exhibition against New Zealand at Frisco, Texas, also includes defenders Stephanie Cox and Whitney Engen, and midfielders Yael Averbuch, Meghan Klingenberg, Kristie Mewis, Christine Nairn and Keelin Winters.

Sundhage said Thursday that 19 of 20 players from her qualifying roster would attend the camp, with the lone exception defender Ali Krieger, who tore right knee ligaments in the opener against the Dominican Republic.

After the New Zealand game, the Americans play in the Algarve Cup in Portugal from Feb. 29 to March 7.
