Germany’s Neuner wins World Cup biathlon pursuit

OSLO, Norway (AP) — Magdalena Neuner of Germany won a 10-kilometer pursuit race Saturday to extend her overall biathlon World Cup lead.

Neuner overcame two missed targets with strong skiing to finish in 30 minutes, 31.1 seconds at Holmenkollen ski stadium. This was her seventh individual victory of the season.

Russia’s Olga Zaitseva was second, 36.5 seconds behind after shooting cleanly. Dara Domracheva of Belarus was third, 51.4 seconds behind after missing two targets.
