PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A tent set up in a park once used by Occupy Portland protesters was set up late Friday, but then removed before midnight.
The tent appeared a day after chain link fencing was removed from two downtown Portland parks following repairs after last fall’s lengthy Occupy Portland encampment.
The Oregonian reports a small group of people set up a tent late Friday night in one of the parks, but that it was gone by 11 p.m.
The removal came after police Lt. Robert King said his officers would enforce park rules.
