TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Brittany Boyd had 19 points, a conference season-high 10 steals, six assists and six rebounds as California rallied from a lengthy scoring drought to beat Arizona State 67-62 on Saturday.

The Golden Bears (17-6, 8-3 Pac-12) overcame a stretch of 6:06 during which they missed 10 straight shots to keep sole possession of second place, three games behind No. 4 Stanford.

Kali Bennett had 13 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots for Arizona State (15-7, 6-5), which has lost two in a row after winning five straight.

Layshia Clarendon added 16 points and Reshanda Gray 13 with seven rebounds for the Golden Bears, who have won eight of their last nine – the only loss coming at Stanford last week.
