Eberhard scores 21, Sacramento State holds 75-71

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) — Joe Eberhard scored 21 points and hit 4-of-6 from the foul line in the final minute as Sacramento State held on to beat Eastern Washington 75-71 on Saturday night.

John Dickson added 20 points off the bench for the Hornets (8-14 overall, 3-8 Big Sky), winners of three straight. Cliff Colimon scored 25 points and Cliff Ederaine had 15 points, 18 rebounds and six assists for the Eagles (11-13, 5-6).

Leading by as many as 19, Sacramento State saw Eastern Washington claw within 69-67 on a baseline jumper by Colimon with 16.7 seconds left. Eberhard, Heath Hoffman and Dylan Garrity responded at the line for the Hornets, each hitting a pair of foul shots and never letting Eastern Washington get closer than four.

Eastern Washington managed just 6 of 23 from the floor in the first half.

Dylan Garrity added 12 points for Sacramento State.
