Udofia scores 27, Denver tops Mid. Tennessee 75-60

DENVER (AP) — Chris Udofia scored a career-high 27 points and had four blocked shots as Denver dealt Middle Tennessee its first Sun Belt Conference loss with a 75-60 win Saturday.

Rob Lewis added 17 points and Royce O’Neale had 14 for the Pioneers (17-7, 7-4), who snapped a two-game losing streak.

LaRon Dendy had 15 points and Marcos Knight scored 14 for the Blue Raiders (21-4, 10-1), who have lost two of their last three games overall.

Denver led 54-51 before pulling away down the stretch. Udofia had a layup and a three-point play and O’Neale added another three-point play to make it 64-55 with 4:29 remaining.

Udofia sealed the game with a block on one end, and a dunk on the other with 1:44 left that made it 71-56.
