PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Authorities say an experienced Oregon mountaineer has died in a fall on Mount Hood.
The Clackamas County sheriff's offices says search and rescue teams found the body of 32-year-old Jared Townsley Tuesday morning, and it appeared he'd taken a severe fall.
He was at about 9,200 feet.
He was seen making a descent Monday, but reported missing later when he missed a business call.
