Woman found dead in Bremerton was homicide

BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) -- Police say the death of a 61-year-old woman in Bremerton was a homicide and they're asking the public for any information that may help solve the case.
The body of Melody Brannon was found Friday in a west Bremerton neighborhood where she had just purchased a house.
The Kitsap Sun reports (http://is.gd/J6HFnZ ) police haven't confirmed where her body was found, only that it was not in the house.
