Ambulance service to offer free CPR classes

American Medical Response Clark County is celebrating the 50th anniversary of CPR by offering free classes.

AMR Clark County is working with Flores Fitness to host free hands-only CPR classes every month. Participants will learn layperson hands-only adult and child CPR, care for choking victims and 911 emergency considerations. Classes last about 45 minutes.

Classes will be offered on the third Saturday of the month at AMR Clark County operations, 409 N.E. 76th St. Classes will begin at noon and 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. (Child CPR offered only during 4 p.m. class).

Classes will also be offered on the third Friday of the month at Flores Fitness, 10818 N.E. Coxley Drive, Suite C. Classes will begin at noon and 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. (child CPR offered only during 4 p.m. class).
