Campbell rallies to beat Coastal Carolina 81-75

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Eric Griffin scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Campbell to an 81-75 victory over Coastal Carolina in a Big South Conference game Tuesday night.

Griffin scored 15 of his points in the second half, as the Camels (16-11, 10-5) rallied from a 50-39 deficit with 13:17 left in the game.

They shot 62.1 percent (18 of 29) in the second half, with Griffin and Darren White each making 5 of 7. White finished with 16 points, 12 of them in the second half.

Campbell finished the game shooting 53.7 percent overall (29 of 54), becoming the first team all season to make more than half its shots against the Chanticleers (17-6, 10-3).

Chris Gradnigo scored 20 points and Dexter Moore came off the bench to add 17 for Coastal Carolina, which lost 70-65 to Campbell in overtime in the teams’ first meeting this season.
