Albany creek boy released from hospital

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The 5-year-old boy who was swept down an Albany creek is out of the hospital.
The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/kRMUw0 ) he was released Tuesday, after three weeks in Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland.
Maliki Wilgus and his father, Christopher Wilgus, survived after their car was swept from a grocery store parking lot Jan. 19 into rain-swollen Periwinkle Creek.
Catherine McLaughlin and her year-old son were trapped inside and died.
