Local lawmakers' bills set for final public hearings
49th District to host Democratic lawmakers town hall
Two Democratic representatives from Clark County, Rep. Tim Probst and Sen. Craig Pridemore, have bills before our Legislature that will benefit all the citizens of Washington state, and set an example for the rest of our country.
Probst’s House Bill 2265 would engage business and education to provide and promote training for students to achieve good-paying jobs here in Washington State. It’s a win-win goal for all.
Pridemore’s Senate Bill 6088 will require tax breaks for businesses to be justified as monetarily good for our state. If his bill had been in force as federal law, U.S. corporations would not be able to hide $23 billion dollars of profit in overseas bank accounts. Both bills have support from their Republican colleagues and deserve support from Clark County citizens. Good job.
