‘Bravo!’ Portland Opera To Go comes to school
Battle Ground — Two Battle Ground students have been selected to perform with all-state groups Feb. 18 at the Washington Music Educators Association conference in Bellevue.
Alena Jarvis, a Tukes Valley Middle School eighth-grader, plays the clarinet, and Elaine Smith, a Chief Umtuch Middle School sixth-grader, will sing in the all-state youth choir.
The girls will perform with about 375 other students from across the state.
