We at The Columbian are happy to announce our very first tweet-up. We’re holding a gathering for our Twitter followers on March 1 at Pizza Schmizza in Salmon Creek.

It’s been a fun year for the Columbian as we’ve greatly expanded our social media efforts, especially on Twitter. All of our reporters are now on Twitter and are tweeting breaking news, sharing links to stories, and interacting with followers.

We feel the time is right to take the conversation offline, as well. We’d love to meet you in-person, talk about the issues of the day, and find out what matters to you when it comes to our coverage. We’ve created an Eventbrite invitation with complete event details.
