PROSSER, Wash. (AP) -- Prosser High School Principal Kevin Lusk was suspended seven days without pay for his role in a probation violation by his wife, Linda, a convicted sex offender.
The Superintendent, Ray Tolcacher, suspended Lusk until Thursday for not making sure his wife filled out paperwork required before they attended a daughter's high school swim meet in Ellensburg.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://is.gd/thgpiG) Kevin Lusk had been on paid leave since Jan. 19 for the investigation.
Linda Lusk is a former Prosser mayor who was arrested in November for attending the swim meet in violation of her probation. In July she was sentenced to three months in jail for inappropriately touching a 14-year-old boy in April 2010. As part of her probation, she is prohibited from attending school events without a chaperone.
