Boys basketball: King’s Way Christian 60, Wishkah 30

Jay Becker scored 16 points to lead a balanced scoring attack by King’s Way in a Class 1B district elimination game.

King’s Way (15-6) will advance to the district semifinals next Saturday in Montesano with a chance to clinch a berth to the 1B regionals.

David Veltkamp added 12 and Chris Crenshaw 11 for the Knights.

Crenshaw did a solid defensive effort of Wishkah’s leading scoring Brady Anderson, keeping him quiet until the fourth quarter when the game was well in hand.
