KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Nate Wolters had game highs of 20 points and eight rebounds to lead South Dakota State past UMKC 75-62 on Saturday night.

Jordan Dykstra added 16 points, Brayden Carlson 15 and Griffan Callahan 12 for the Jackrabbits (20-7, 12-3 Summit League), who notched their first 20-win season at the Division I level.

Reggie Chamberlain scored 17 points to pace the Kangaroos (10-17, 4-11), whose four-game home winning streak ended. Trinity Hall added 14 points and Nate Rogers 12, while Estan Tyler had seven assists.

South Dakota State took control late in the first half. Trailing 26-23, the Jackrabbits closed the half with an 18-3 spurt ignited by 12 points from Carlson. That gave them a 41-29 advantage at halftime, and UMKC never came closer than 11 after intermission.

The Jackrabbits swept the season series, having whipped UMKC 85-58 last month in Brookings, S.D.
