A Battle Ground man was ticketed by Washington State Patrol troopers Sunday after an accident at the intersection of Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 65th Street.
John D. Singletary, 42, was cited for failing to obey a traffic signal following the collision, which occurred at 11:08 a.m.
According to a State Patrol report, Singletary was southbound on 117th in a Dodge Durango SUV when he allegedly ran a red light and collided in the intersection with a Honda CRV driven by Debra L. Severson, 60, of Vancouver, who was attempting to turn left onto northbound 117th from 65th. She was taken to a hospital as a precaution, according to the report.
