Lost Mount Hood snowboarder rescued uninjured

MOUNT HOOD, Ore. (AP) -- A snowboarder who got lost out-of-bounds on Mount Hood has been reunited with his friends.

The friends of 34-year-old Lim Dae called for help as darkness fell Saturday. The Mount Hood Ski Patrol began searching and were soon joined by search-and-rescue officials with the Clackamas County sheriff's office.

The rescue team called his cell phone and, with the help of a Korean interpreter, told him to stay put and wait for them. They reached him by 2:15 a.m. Sunday and brought him back to the Timberline Lodge.
