Spike in teen suicides spurs action
Aaron Chidester of Vancouver’s Unite4Life will conduct two classes on suicide prevention.
The classes are free and open to the public.
The classes will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St.

Speratos has been working with Chidester to do suicide prevention outreach in Battle Ground.
Three students from Battle Ground High School have committed suicide in the past year.
