A woman on Wednesday reclaimed her stolen camera found by Vancouver police, officials said.
On Aug. 30, officers were sent to a vehicle prowl and arrested two people, according to a bulletin from police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
Inside a vehicle the suspects used, officers found stolen property including the camera, which had about 1,000 images inside.
On Tuesday, police released a few of the photos in hopes of finding the camera’s owner. The owner’s friends spotted the images released through the media, including The Columbian, and told her to get in touch with police, Kapp said.
“She was thrilled that she had some observant friends and family,” Kapp said.
