Boys basketball: Wilson 55, Mountain View 46

Wilson turned up its defensive pressure in the second half, and Thunder went cold in a Class 3A bi-district quarterfinal game in Tacoma.

After scoring 14 points in the first quarter and 20 in the second, Mountain View was held to 12 total points in the second half, shooting 3 for 14 from the field.

Wilson outscored the Thunder 31-12 in the second half.

Mountain View will get another chance to qualify for regionals Saturday when the Thunder face Prairie or Decatur at 4:15 p.m. at Clover Park High School.

Zach Torson led Mountain View with 19 points.
