BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — C.J. McCollum scored 22 points and John Adams recorded a double-double to lead Lehigh to a 72-53 win over Lafayette on Saturday.

Adams finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Mountain Hawks (21-7, 9-3 Patriot League), who won their third straight game. McCollum also had eight rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots.

Lehigh extended their lead to 16 points on Adams’ basket with 14:23 left before Lafayette scored five straight points to force the Mountain Hawks to call a timeout. But Lehigh pushed their lead back to 16 points a few minutes later, and the Leopards (11-16, 6-6) pulled no closer than 13 the rest of the way.

Ryan Willen led Lafayette with 16 points, but had five turnovers. Tony Johnson had 12 points, four rebounds and four turnovers.
