Princeton beats Cornell 75-57 for 4th in row

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — T.J. Bray scored 16 points as Princeton defeated Cornell 75-57 in an Ivy League game Saturday night for its fourth consecutive victory.

The Tigers (15-10, 6-3), who lost 67-59 to Cornell on Jan. 13, shot 69.2 percent (18 of 26) in the first half for a 44-32 halftime advantage after leading by as many as 16 points.

Princeton scored the first five points of the second half, and the Big Red (10-14, 5-5) never trailed by fewer than 14 points after that.

Patrick Saunders added 14 points for Princeton and Ian Hummer had 13. Hummer, a junior forward, moved up three spots to 22nd on the Tigers’ career scoring list with 1,068 points.

Bray was 4 of 6 from 3-point range for the Tigers and Douglas Davis, who had 11 points, was 3 of 4.

Chris Wroblewski and Galal Cancer scored 10 points apiece to pace Cornell.
