BOSTON (AP) — Dave Coley scored 21 points to lead Stony Brook past Northeastern 76-69 on Saturday, keeping the Seawolves in first place in the America East Conference with just two games left in the regular season.

Tommy Brenton added 13 points and Dallis Joyner 10 with 10 rebounds for Stony Brook (18-8, 12-2), whose victory in this Bracket Busters game got the Seawolves back on the winning track after a loss in their last game at Vermont. Prior to that, Stony Brook was on a season-high eight-game winning streak.

The contest was tied at 35-all at the break, but Northeastern went ahead 62-53 with just under 6 minutes left in the second half. However, the Seawolves put together a strong late run, as Brenton scored five points in a 17-3 spree to take the lead for good.

Joel Smith had 20 points to lead the Huskies (12-15, 8-8).
