Villopoto races to 3rd straight AMA Supercross win

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Ryan Villopoto raced to his third straight AMA Supercross victory and fourth in seven rounds this season, edging Ryan Dungey on Saturday night in front of 53,952 fans at Cowboys Stadium.
Villopoto, the Kawasaki star from Poulsbo, Wash., extended his season lead to 13 points.
Earlier, Honda's Justin Barcia, from Ochlocknee, Ga., won the opening race of the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class Championship.
