MEDVORD, Ore. (AP) — Medford police say a 14-year-old girl has died after mixing helium gas and alcohol at a home.

KTVL-TV (http://bit.ly/zM51Yc ) says police responded to a 911 call late Saturday night from an Alameda Street address where the caller said a teenage girl was not breathing and was unconscious after drinking alcohol and inhaling helium.

Responding officers found Ashley Long, who was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Lt. Mike Budreau says several underage teenagers were at the home and at least one adult was providing alcohol and marijuana. Police say the teens also had access to a helium tank and some were inhaling the helium.

Twenty-one-year-old Katherine Diane McAloon was arrested and faces charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor and delivering marijuana to a minor.
