Girls basketball: Camas 59, Lakes 55

The Papermakers won the fourth seed out of the 3A bi-district tournament with the win over Lakes at Clover Park High School.

Sydney Allen scored 21 points and Sierra Brown had 16 points as Camas (19-8) led throughout. But Lakes (20-5) kept it close.

Brenna Khaw helped ice the game by making two free throws with 19 seconds to play to put Camas up by four.

Camas next plays No. 4 Franklin of Seattle at 6 p.m. Saturday at Bellevue Community College for a shot at state in the Tacoma Dome.
