ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted three Fairbanks residents on charges of conspiring to distribute more than 50 kilograms of cocaine in what authorities say is the largest-ever haul of the drug bound for Alaska.
The indictment names 29-year-old Donnell R. S. Johnson, 29-year-old Joshua Mustovich and 24-year-old Christopher Anderson.
U.S. Attorney for Alaska Karen Loffler (LAUF-ler) says in a prepared statement that 26 kilos of cocaine were seized during the investigation.
The men were arrested Jan. 27.
Prosecutors say Johnson was arrested after delivering 12 kilograms of cocaine he received from Washington state, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports (http://bit.ly/wv8pSp ).
