RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Bradford Burgess scored 31 points and Juvonte Reddic had a double-double to lead Virginia Commonwealth to an 89-77 win over George Mason on Saturday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Reddic finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Rams (25-6, 15-3 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won three in a row. Troy Daniels scored 17 points.

The Patriots (23-8, 14-4) suffered their first double-digit loss in the conference this season. VCU avenged a 62-61 loss to George Mason earlier this month.

Ryan Pearson scored 24 points and had nine rebounds for the Patriots, who lost despite shooting 53.1 percent (26 of 49) from the floor. But VCU scored 22 points off of 20 turnovers, and knocked down 11 shots from beyond the arc.

In the first half, the Rams scored 12 unanswered points that took more than 90 seconds to claim a 28-16 lead.
