Man who shot himself faces endangerment charges

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- A man who shot himself in the leg with two young children present faces new charges of reckless endangerment on Friday.
The Eugene Register-Guard reports (http://bit.ly/zThJDu ) 26-year-old Aaron Brown was treated at a Eugene hospital for the injury on Thursday night.
Police say the .357-caliber revolver apparently fired while Brown was spinning its cylinder while holding a finger near its trigger.
He faces five charges of reckless endangering and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Two children, ages 3 and 5, were in the apartment.
Investigators suspect that Brown had been smoking marijuana before the shooting.
