OREM, Utah (AP) — Isiah Williams scored 28 points as Utah Valley reached the 20-win mark and clinched its second straight regular-season championship of the Great West Conference with a 74-64 victory over Texas-Pan American on Saturday night.
Geddes Robinson added 15 points and 16 rebounds for the Wolverines (20-10, 9-0 Great West), who have won 13 straight games heading into the final week of the regular season.
Brandon Provost had 15 points and five assists for Texas-Pan American (11-18, 5-3), which had won four straight games surrounded by a pair of losses to the Wolverines.
A 3-pointer by Williams capped a 10-0 run that put Utah Valley ahead 29-17 with 6 minutes left in the first half. The Wolverines were ahead 37-24 at the break and maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
Utah Valley outrebounded Pan American 46-21.
